Demand

Europe needs waste-based feedstock

EU renewable transport and aviation rules increasingly favour waste and residue feedstock over crops. Used cooking oil is a recognised advanced feedstock for biodiesel, HVO and sustainable aviation fuel.

Supply

Certified volume is scarce

Certified, traceable supply from African origins remains limited, while European refiners and HVO producers compete for every tonne. A desk review has not identified an incumbent running this route out of Abidjan.
